The Vision
IHOPE is a ministry serving the Metro Detroit East area. The vision is to have a furnace of prayer that burns 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are asking God to fulfill His promise and give the nations of the earth to Jesus as His inheritance. We are lovers of the Lord who diligently seek His face and to desire to see the revelation of Jesus Christ in the earth. Click here to view promo video.
Harp & Bowl
Harp and Bowl is a term taken directly from Revelations 5:8 describing the objects held by one of the angels standing before the throne of God. The angel holds a harp in one hand (representing worship) and a bowl in the other (representing prayers of the saints). Thus, Harp and Bowl is a blending of worship and prayer before the Lord. The connection of the term Harp and Bowl with 24/7 worship is derived from the description of these activities continuing day and night before the throne as described in Revelations 4:8. The Harp and Bowl concept is not new. King David found his beginnings with a harp in the field singing to the Lord. His songs of devotion, deliverance and lamentation were great intercession before the Lord. Out of his heart of worship and prayer God found a king to rule Israel whose primary passion was to restore the ark of His presence to it’s rightful place.
We meet in the Metro Detroit East area to provide continuous prayer for this region. We desire to be a blessing to the entire church body by providing a prayer covering as well as a training/equipping center. We desire to partner with area churches to achieve our goal of providing 24/7 prayer coverage. Additionally, we are training up worship leaders, singers, intercessors, and sound technicians to be released for service in the Kingdom.
We as a ministry are currently operating in the following areas:

How can I get involved?
Hi Robert,
You can join in and pray along with any set at anytime, during which we ususally have rapid fire prayer (10-20 second prayers at the mic) and small group prayer (10-15 minutes of praying for each other in groups). The Furnace prayer is every Friday at 6PM. This is an intense hour of pre-service prayer in tongues open to everyone. We are also in the process of starting Prayer Teams. These meet 1 hour before a given set to study and encourage and pray togwether and then you attend and participate in your 2 hour set. For additional ways eou can be involved, check out our recent post titled: “Getting Involved”
