theBurning : A Prophetic School of Revival : In Detroit and in your city

 

FIRST: Get ready for a week of FIRE at THE INTENSIVE!  The evening meetings are open to all ages, and the rest is specifically set up for those aged 13-18.  Register right away at www.ihopedetroit.org!

 

There is a wild increase in fire and desperation in many Christians around in most every part of the world.  With this in mind, theBurning is igniting now in preparation for a September 11, 2009 launch.

We are currently seeking staff members who’s hearts are ablaze for the Lover of our souls, Jesus Christ. 

If you are interested, please send contact us at info@theburningschool.com.  We will have an “by invitation only” info meeting at IHOPE at 8pm on Tuesday, June 16th for everybody who is interested.  Let’s connect prior to that meeting.

We will spend approximately twelve hours per week in a variety of capacities:

• theBurning Saturday: You will be a member of one of our ministry teams and will have the thrill and responsibility of ensuring it’s easy for everybody to discover the enjoyable freedom that only Jesus can give at our primary event that’s open to the public.
• Revelation Driven Prayer: Based on my book of the same name, we will discover the heart and voice of God each week as we dive into prophetic intercession.
• Prep Room: We will all punch through invisible walls as we pray in the Holy Spirit together for an hour prior to the Saturday main event.
• Coffee & Social: You will have the opportunity to serve coffee and food each Saturday prior to the main event.  This will be a great way to meet and get to know some new friends to the ministry.
• Staff Meeting: Each week we’ll gather together for teaching and instruction specifically in relation to our goals as a staff.
• Traveling Teams: While not required, I’m sure several will enjoy the opportunity to visit churches, camps and conferences as we take theBurning on the road!
• Soaking/Intimacy Driven Prayer:  Time in the presence of God with an emphasis on intimacy will help all of us as a staff each week.
• Ministry assignments: There will be opportunities to serve outside of the group setting for those who are interested.

Some of the specific staff opportunities include:

• Administration: We need a top notch administrator who can help with marketing, scheduling remote theBurning events, connecting with ministry leaders, communicating with those in our ministry and other important tasks.
• Worship Team: We will be developing a worship team full of people who intimately know God and who can take others into that secret place with them.
• Media: In addition to sound and internal video, we desire to stream our services and prayer meetings live online.
• Environment: Several people are needed to ensure the overall environment is alive, clean, professional and excellent.  We’ll need ushers, greeters, food prep, etc.
• Children: While space is limited, we do plan on providing children’s ministry for ages 1-4.
• Ministry Team: If you are full of life and the power of the Holy Spirit and love to minister to people at the altar, we need you!
• Prophecy Team: This team is already under development and it will be a strong foundational ministry for us.

Please note, this is a ministry that spans the generations, and we want to see all age groups represented.  We want the fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, grandparents and children.

Everybody will be responsible to provide for their own living expenses and, if applicable, travel expenses.

ALSO, if you are not in the Detroit area, we would love to bring theBurning to your church or event- anywhere in the world!  I will minister on “Four Fires”, “Revelation Driven Prayer”, “20 Elements of Revival” and other topics that will help your ministry go deeper into the fire of the Holy Spirit.
