Ok, the rest of this email is specifically for:

• Potential Element Church launch team members
• Those curious about this possible church plant
• Pastors and Christian leaders in the Colorado Springs area
• Those involved in the prayer ministry in their Colorado Springs area church
• Anyone that has a prayer/revival/prophecy/city-transformation focus

Amy and I are working very hard at putting the necessary pieces together prior to making a final decision regarding the re-launch of the church.  You are possibly one of those pieces.  Miles and I have also been seeking out property for the church… so, the wheels are in motion!  But… we must have considerable additional participation before we can make the giant leap from KC to Colorado Springs.

Today, we received a phone call from Detroit, and Amy is seriously being considered for a job at a crisis pregnancy center there.  We’ll need to make a decision soon if that does come to pass.  So, it’s imperative that we ensure everything is in place in Colorado Springs prior to making a move there.  A small number of people have felt strongly that the time is NOW for a revival/prayer/prophecy style church to arrive in the Colorado Springs area… but, we must see the team in position before we can do this.

We’re doing our ‘due diligence’ by investigating every component of our dual ministry focuses in Detroit and Colorado.  Where we call our home is quite important.  I don’t feel we can effectively launch in Colorado unless we have a team of 20 or more people who are ready to buy into the vision, pay the price and run with passion.  To date, we have had less than 10 commit to the church plant.

Time is of the essence as we have a LOT of work to do (fun work, but work nonetheless!):

• Marketing
• Fundraising
• Training
• Developing bylaws
• Finding overseers
• Finding property
• Selling our house
• Moving the family
• and much more!

Element Church will be planted with the same DNA and focus that Revolution Church did in 2001.  However, with several additional years under our belt, and a deep commitment to stay keenly focused on prayer, the manifest presence of God, revival and reformation, the feel will be significantly different.

Here’s a quick list of what to expect:

• Every leader praying a minimum of 3 hours per day
• Every other person in prayer at least 12 hours per week (6 at RHOP minimum, optionally 6 at home)
• 20 Elements of Revival is a key manual
• The Blueprint Vision is our key structure
• Prophecy will be a key driver
• We will start in Acts 2:1 (elements one & 2 in the book)- agreement and an extreme devotion of time
• Element will be a ministry of RHOP and not vice versa.  This is spiritually significant.
• I will oversee both ministries, Miles will direct RHOP and I will direct Element
• Sunday (and other) services will be, to the best of our ability, Holy Spirit intense
• Teaching may or may not happen each week, but prayer and intercession always will
• Element Church will be one ‘element’ of the city church- we won’t do it all, but we’ll be intentionally focused on what our part is
• Our mission statement will remain what God gave me when I led Revolution: Making it easy for people to thoroughly enjoy God
• We will also have a spiritual warfare/deliverance emphasis
• We will have a Kingdom advance agenda
• Joy or the absence of it will be a trustworthy barometer for us as a ministry
• Every leader must embrace and represent our core values with passion and consistency

There are many other items I could add to the list, but this is a good start.

If you plan on participating with us, I need to know that right away.  If you need more information, please request that immediately.  Everybody who is going to join the team must read both 20 Elements of Revival and Revelation Driven Prayer.  If you cannot afford them, Miles is going to work on getting you a copy.  Just let us know.

We are almost into March.  Our plan would be to arrive in May.  That gives us just over 2 months to start planning, training the team, holding conference calls,
etc.  This is why we must start this week.  Please do remember, it’s important to have a release from your current Pastor prior to committing with us.  That church is counting on your participation, tithe, etc. and we want to ensure they aren’t left lacking.
