Mobile Podcast : IHOP : onething : graphic design

Here’s a couple of podcasts for you to listen to.  I had fun driving the shuttles today for onething… I’m somewhat sad about moving on from the IHOP staff, but I’m excited about what’s coming in 2009!

We may head on over to World Revival Church in the morning.  I’m loving the smell of revival from that place!

I’m going to try to make it to at least one of the onething sessions… but, no guarantees.  I am loaded up with graphic design, and I better take care of my clients!

I’m praying about a flexible way to earn some more income each month.  Support has taken a dive, probably due to the current recession… and we are at a crisis point.

If anybody has ideas, let me know.

Of course, my graphic design is a great fit, but I need some additional clients.  We need to make around $125 or so per day to pay the bills.

Since I’ll be on the road 10 days or so each month, at least, a traditional 9-5 job is out of the question.  I’m keeping my eyes peeled.

Of course, the final goal is to focus entirely on ministry.  One of the challenges that I discovered while leading Intro to IHOP is that people who are called to pray and minister are not usually gifted as ‘kings’… fund raisers.  The day must come when the intercessors intercede and the evangelists evangelize and the teachers teach while the kings provide for their expenses.  We see this in scripture, and it’s so important that we see it return here.

Can you imagine what would happen if everybody at IHOP could give 100% of their energy doing what they are gifted and called to do?  This world would change rapidly!
