Todd Bentley : Bill Johnson : Support Video

I was in the service in Baton Rouge when Jimmy Swaggart confessed in 1988.  Ted Haggard has preached in my church and I was heartbroken when I heard of his failure.  My wife and I were prayed for by Todd Bentley just a few weeks before news of his current struggles.  I’ve witnessed true men of God go through massive attack from their own camp, and I’ve seen some of them fail.  It’s so tragic, and we as a body must learn our lesson (as opposed to trying to teach them their lesson).  We must pray.  We must love tenderly.

We must not mock, hate, be critical or be cruel as many tend to do.  This video by Bill Johnson is so powerful and appropriate.  The love of God is evident.  Would Bill ever look the other way if Todd bought into heresy?  No way.  But he would still love.  How is it that so many Christians are divisive and critical in the guise of protecting the truth?
