Thank you, most sincerely…thank you for writing this…..may every single person that happens upon this page (as I did) have their eyes and ears opened to your heart and to God's truth and revelation behind this writing….I've never seen anything like it in 20 yrs of being a believer and that's quite a profound & sad truth. I will print and save this and share it with whomever I can so that the fruit of this writing may continue to thrive. It took guts, it took risk, it took a fear or the Lord, and more importantly it took "godly sorrow that leads to repentance"….unfortunately–isnt that always the case?

I also liked your comment about the revival police, there is too much of that. I want God to move, on me, in me, through me and around me. I want to love him and find that in some way or another I do and am learning to love Him more. Thank you, for allowing me teh freedom to discern and decide for myself, and to not feel condemned should I choose not to partake. Thank you and Bless you. I was hurt years ago by a similar thing and found this caused much confusion when I didnt have anything happen to me. I know God loves me, I am His Child based purely on the work of the Cross. Amen and Amen!

Dear Pastor Sheets

I read this at work during a quiet spell. I have had much trouble in my own life thinking something was wrong with me, why dont I get that feeling. I know that God is leading me back to the totality and awesomeness and power of His Word, I know that the Parable of the 10 Virgins talks about lamp and oil, His Word is a lamp and the Oil is the Holy Spirit. I too noticed the lack of Word. All i can say is thank you, thank you, thank you and on behalf of the Body of Christ from my part, forgiven!!! I was crying when I read your letter which at work is pretty embarassing. It took the pressure and the condemnation of me.

I'd be very careful when presuming to quote the Holy Spirit. I honestly doubt God would say it the way you shared.

I was at Lakeland, and the presence of God was so overwhelming… absolutely phenomenal.

Dear Dutch:
Thank you so much for your comment on Lakeland. Although I have only been a christian for 7 years, I knew something was very wrong. Every time I tried watching it on God TV, the picture would go. I found out that was happening to a lot of people. I felt absolutely no desire to go there. I am not questioning that people got healed at Lakeland, but I think it was more and I quote the holy spirit when I say this "more poppycock than anything". I agree totally that we, as the body of Christ need to have more discernment in these areas, especially in these end times.

I have been reading intercessory prayer and our bible study group is using it right now as a sutdy on prayer. I have gleaned so much from it. I am from Abbotsford (Todd's home town) in fact his wife and her sibblings went to school with my kids. I saw this from the beginning and had a check in my spirit. When a dynamic young person full of personality, flair and gifting come along I think the "fathers" of the charismatic movement can get a little star struck I really felt that at some point along the way he was "handled" and dare I say perhaps used to build the ministries of others here in Abbotsford. No judgement on them I just see how easy it is to get whipped into a frenzie. I pray that Shonna and the kids find some healing and peace.

Thank you for your gracious and humble repentance. I agree totally that we can stand for others in repentance. I was at "the Cry" in Vancouver last summer and was touched by the amazing show of repentance that took place there…… blessings Brother…

Seeing as you didn't refute anything and just spouted the same “Todd is an anointed man of God” line, you've proven what was wrong with Lakeland all along: you put Todd on a pedestal so therefore any testing is considered judgmental so you can keep Todd in that high place. That is a religious attitude.
