John & Amy Moving to KC!

Hello!
Well, Amy, the kids and I are moving to KC in about 3 weeks!  For how long?  No idea!  Why?  To get training, to make connections and to spread the word about a “model of revival for the nations”- Manitou Springs!

Thanks so much to all who have pressed in with us over the years.  You are great friends and we are so honored to have known you!

We are taking possibly the biggest leap of faith of our lives, and we seriously need quite a bit: 

1. We have only raised 1/6^th of what we need just to live on.  Would you pray about planting a seed into this ministry?  Visit www.r180.com/donate.htm to give a monthly or one-time tax-deductible gift via credit card.  Or, you can send a check to: RHOP, 441 Manitou Ave., #220, Manitou Springs, CO 80829.  Don’t write our name on the check please, but rather place a note in the envelope that the donation is for the Burton family.
2. PRAY for our house to sell.  To take this house payment with us to KC in addition to rent on an apartment is impossible without some sort of miracle.  We’re open to whatever God wants, including keeping the house if he plans on us returning soon… but, that can’t happen under our current financial conditions.  This is a major issue that we have a lot of peace about, but can’t afford to neglect.
3. R180.com- This website will be the primary expression of my ministry as I transfer to KC.  The purpose of this site is to be a portal of likeminded revivalists who can compare notes, develop relationship and effectively steward the Word of the Lord. 
4. RHOP- Much prayer and active partnership is needed for Miles who will be leading locally.  Would you consider a close and active partnership with him?  Everything from a monthly salary to filled prayer watches to a powerful Saturday night service is very important.  So few are manning the posts right now- and the mission of seeing the darkest city in America established as a model of revival for the nations is bigger than any single person.  That’s why I’m heading out to recruit.  But, in the mean time we need a unified army to develop quickly to hold up the arms of Miles and the other leaders and to help usher in revival.

There are many, many other needs- both practical and spiritual.  If you would pray about this, it would be a massive blessing!  Thanks SO MUCH to all of you who have already started your partnership.  You are such an amazing blessing!!  I know God’s heart is touched as you help his dreams in this region come to pass!

 

Amy and I love you very much!  We’ll continue to oversee RHOP and will soon return either full time or for special conferences and events such as Mission Manitou.  Our lives are devoted to launching a chain reaction of world wide revival from the city of Manitou Springs!
