A house of prayer suddenly becomes a house of fire. As in Acts 2, when people contend for hours in a state of utter desperation and deeply passionate prayer, fire erupts. Groanings and hungerings from the deepest part of our spirits bellow out of us!

An absolutely radical reformation must be experienced in the church of this nation. Where is the fire? It should be normal to be swept away by the glory of the Living God when we walk into our churches on Sunday mornings. Soon, this experience will consume people not only when they go to church but also as they walk into our cities! People will drive hundreds of miles to experience city-wide revivals made up of thousands of believers who pray night and day!

We see in Acts 2 that no ministry, strategy or Kingdom advance was attempted until they were walking as drunk men and women! The fire of the Holy Spirit visibly and materially ravaged them- at which point they had something to offer to the world.

Church- we MUST be unified in our pursuit of God’s presence. Every believer simply must press in hours and hours at a time as a part of their normal New Testament experience.

I pray that we become fire-breathers in this nation. People who are radically set apart for nothing else but the melting heat of God’s presence!

Baptisms in fire come to this nation! May there wave after never ending wave of fire burning in our churches! Let’s take the clocks off the walls of our churches and linger for hours, days and weeks in the presence of God so we have enough power to take city after city for Jesus Christ!

I’ve heard it said that casinos don’t have any clocks in sight so the people will lose track of time and gamble away more money. Folks- crying night and day for the fire of the Holy Spirit is no gamble! God has proven it time and time again- people who pray and contend for revival will experience revival!

Let’s cancel programs, services, conferences, small groups and everything else in favor of night and day prayer- until the Holy Spirit ravages us with his love and power!

Then, and only then, we’ll have something to teach about, talk about, impart and spread to the nations!

Holy Spirit come!
